The Norfolk Plover
Chris Knights is a Norfolk man and anyone who is remotely acquainted will know of his love for the Stone-curlew, known locally as the Norfolk Plover. Over 60 years ago he took his first photograph of this bird that has become one of his favourite subjects in the bird world. While farming he educated his workforce to look out for nests to mark, so that they were protected and could raise their young successfully. The book has many photographs that he has enjoyed taking over the years, giving him much pleasure and continuing to do so. This beautiful book will delight all of those with a love for the countryside, farming or wildlife.
